The vision of Adiyaman University Department of Special Education is to train special education teachers who are able to examine and research various problems and requirements of the field of special education, which covers the education of individuals with special needs. Another vision of the department is to equip special education teachers with knowledge and skills to work with special need students, their families, their teachers, their administrators and the other members of the society who interacts with these students.
Mission of the Department
Our department aims to train teachers and researchers who will contribute to the education of individuals with special needs at all levels. Another aim of the department is to train teachers who will create modern educational environments for special need students and who will find valid solutions for independent living of these students.
